Yesterday, I was watching video lecture that I had missed during the week. I was very tired after reaching home, from school, at 20:00++. But I forced myself to watch the video as I have so many things piling up. With quiz and lab assessment coming next week plus 3 projects’ deadline approaching, I can’t slack of the night. I still have e-learning stuffs to do…

So yesterday night I was forcing myself to catch the video lecture. What’s pro with that is … while I was watching, and understand and writing some notes … I was eventually fall asleep. Fall asleep while writing… WTH!

I started to puzzle whether I really lived to the fullest. Is the god gave me too much during my teenage life and now it’s time to give them all back?

'Private' Lecture

During usual days, with a 300 seated lecture theater, there are only 12 to 15 students attending this lecture. But this record was broke yesterday.

This week is intended to be our e-learning week. However, most of the lecture/tutorial still requires us to have physical lesson. In the end, everyday still need to come back to school.

After our first lesson at 13:30, only three of us went for the last lesson, a 2 hours lesson. We brought our lunch to the lecture theater as we didn’t have time to eat it due to having a project meeting before our first lesson. We were 10 minutes late, but when the three of us went in with the food, the whole theater was empty and only our lecturer was in the room! O.O So in the end, the 2 hours lecture was only for the 3 of us…

I just received a call from HK (I think). She even got my full name! I think it's a follow-up from a phone survey I done ages ago. They called me to go down to HK and attend a seminar. Siao! That's very scary! I think I better don't pick up any unknown phone number anymore!! Don't know how to hang it when the tele-communicator start talking... So please, if you gonna call me with a number that I never seen before, please send me a sms first. Thank you!

Check out who's boarding the NTU Pioneer Shuttle Bus!!

Yea! It's Mickey and Minnie!!!

Just as when I reached Pioneer MRT, Gary phoned me. He asked me when am I, as we usually meet at Pioneer and head to school together. I told him I reached Pioneer. But when I try to ask him where he was, he keep diverting to coming around 20 minutes. O.O Usually he will tell me which station he is in but this time, he keeps diverting. I sensed something not right.

After much confrontation, he finally give up, he told me that he reached Pioneer le. He boarded the same train as me. But I was at the back end of the train and he was at the front. So we walked towards each other and met at the middle of the platform. I saw him carrying a big Mickey Mouse plastic bag. I thought it was a box of Pineapple tart as he told me, during the weekend, that he has Crystal Jade Pineapple tart for me. However, he pulled out a huge Minnie Mouse soft toy!!

OMG!!! So I was keep hugging the soft toy and get out of the station. Then suddenly, Gary said ‘so coincidence, Anthony also here’. I was so paiseh lor, because I was still carrying the huge Minnie Mouse. When I turned back, Anthony came with another big Mickey Mouse plastic bag! O.O It was Mickey Mouse inside!!!!! He pulled it out for me!

So I was carrying the Mickey and Minnie while waiting and boarding the shuttle bus. They refused to give me the plastic bag...

They met at 11:00 in Jurong Point to shop for my gifts. OMG! So early lor! I haven't even step out of my house during that time... (Our lesson starts at 13:30)! During the lecture, both of them like keep yawning. So poor thing.

When I asked Gary whether does it took them a long time to get the gift, he answered 'nope, because I already know what you would want'. Wah lao, So confidence!

Birthday Celebration #4: Uni Clique

Okay, this is the last celebration thus far. Our traditional celebration for the clique was dined in Aston, The Cathay. However, this time, we broke the tradition. We went to Marina Square. No, no, not Aston but intended to go Just Acia after I kept introducing them about the free flow of drinks and ice-cream per set meal. In which a set meal can go as low as $5.90!!!

So right after school, we headed to the South.

On the way there, they kept pulling me to look at cakes. They told me to choose a variety of them and they will filter the chosen cakes and buy one as my birthday cake. Wah! Make me so paiseh. After some minutes, we finally reached Marina Square. We didn’t head straight to Just Acia as we were waiting for Jamie. She was doing project with her group in school.

As we walk…we saw a banner called ‘Sweet Tooth’. The name was so attractive that we followed the sign board to check out what is this shop about. It leaded us to Marina Square link. Then…this fast food restaurant diverted our ‘searching for Sweet Tooth plan’. (Actually the Sweet Tooth was allocated just opposite the Chicking).

After much discussion, we entered the fast food and settled our dinner there!!!

By that time Jamie was still in school, doing project. It was already 19:00+++

To celebrate my birthday, my family brought me to Fish & Co to lunch. I was the one suggesting there as Fish & Co is having 10% discount off the total bill for the birthday girl/boy. So we went there. Before we enter, I even asked about the birthday treat. They told me that there’s only a 10% discount and nothing more. But 3 years back, when my Poly clique celebrating the Feb babies on my birthday, they gave a scope of ice-cream for the birthday person. So I was quite disappointed that they told me there’s only a 10% discount. Nevertheless, we still went in.

We took some time to decide what to order though my dad was rushing to work. In the end, I ordered for them.

When the bill comes, the waitress .......... handed me ........ a scope of ICE-CREAM!! Wah I was so happy!!! Even the waitress also give me a surprise!!

Birthday Celebration #1: Secondary Clique

The first celebration of my 22nd was from my secondary school clique! I read Vivian blog, she said that they didn’t prepare any surprise this year. But to me, the whole dinner was a surprise and hard works.

We went to Swensen to dine. As usual, they treated me with the dinner as part of the birthday present. They even booked the place beforehand which I was quite touched though Vivian booked it because she happened to be in NEX the day before.

Hmmm… Let me start with the ordering. I was flipping the menu and was indecisive on which to order. I had eliminated until the last two, which is Fried Chicken Cutlet and BBQ Half Chicken. Yea, chicken again. Though Vivian helped me to mini-moni-mini-mo, I chose the opposite, the BBQ Half Chicken!!

While waiting for the dish to be served, Kai Bin started to hint around saying ‘give the smallest one?’ And… Tada!

It was a Hello Kitty Capsule. Though it was wrapped, the first touch I already know that it’s the ‘转转' thing (the kind that kids usually fancy, that you can turn the machine after inserting the coin and a random toy will come out). I even went asking whether it was the ‘转转' thing and I saw Kai Bin giving that 不知所措 face. I knew that I was correct! It was a Hello Kitty (HK) Capsule coin bank with a HK hand phone strap.

The first dish, side dish, was finally served. Limin ordered this and we shared.

One by one, the main dish is served. Vivian even praised that I finished the food until very clean. She even took a photo of the bones. It was too disgusted for me to share. I wouldn’t want you guys vomit after reading my blog…

After the dinner, they handed me the second gift. When I was holding the gift, once again, I know what was inside. However, I was not confident as I thought they wouldn’t give me such a gift. Jasmine Disney Doll

It is a Jasmine Disney Doll! I knew that it is a Barbie doll after experiencing the texture of the box structure. It’s a standard Barbie Doll box. Of course I love the present, but 好恐怖. Receiving such a gift at the age of 22 just doesn’t seem right. Vivian even helped me to think of a name for her. She suggested ding ding. So that if still got another one, can call her dang dang. 好敷衍. Then, she also suggested Hei Hei, because Jasmine is the only 'black' doll among the Disney princesses. I told Shu Ning (email) about this and she voted for that name too. Guys, any more better idea?

After gotten the doll, they handed me the last present! Oh my gosh!! How many gifts they are going to give~~ When the hand to me, they were like 'make a guess what is it, make a guess', excitingly. So I try to feel around the wrapped gift and said ‘was it a bag’. O.O I don’t understand… how come I am so SMART!!! The bag is so damn lovely. It is a bag that I will fancy, but I would not buy. It is too sweet for me. It is really very nice, very sweet. Perhaps, it was too sweet for me. But I really do like it. Now I am brain storming which clothes can 配 this bag. Don’t worry, I will definitely bring it out!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

This should be our first formal Valentine’s Celebration due to having it clashed with the first day of Lunar New Year last year. Though today is a Monday, which means both of us have school, it’s still a sweet celebration.

I guess my lecturer also needs to celebrate Valentine’s Day because our lesson for today had been reduced to only a lecture, which is from 13:30 to 14:30. And time to go home~ Of course, we didn’t go home. There is a queue of stuffs to do after school.

First of all, we went to library as we had planned to have dinner together in IMM, and the steamboat dinner starts only after 17:00. So we went library, to surf net, print this week’s lecture slides, scan documents, etc. I even try to chiong finish tomorrow’s tutorial during the time in the library lor. Oh my gosh, how pathetic I was in.

About time, we travelled to IMM and had a feast on a $9.80 steamboat meal with a free-flow of iced lemon tea for an addition $1 top-up. If you have an excellent memory, you should have remembered that we went there before during last last semester break.

He called me to turn back and close my eyes, while he was preparing the gift. I did as he told and the next moment ….. TADA!!

Happenings in Serangoon
February 12 2010, Saturday

The plan for today was going to Gary’s house and play Maplestory. See, today and tomorrow are having Maple events, hence will have 2x drop rate and 2x EXP during certain timing. Hence when I reached Serangoon, I gave him a call. He didn’t pick up the call so I went to NEX (the new Shopping Mall located outside Serangoon MRT station) to slack (because I came early). Within few minutes, Gary called back. I updated him my location and told him that I will be walking to his block now.

But actually, I was so hooked by the shop until I forgot the time. After my window shopping, I quickly dashed to the lift and back to the ground floor. Then, Gary called, asking me where I was. He was outside NEX waiting for me. O.O

Oh o, when I met him there, he gave me that ‘I thought you said you are coming now’ look. Then he started lecturing me that he had already arranged the chairs, switched on the air-con, placed a coke in the fridge, came down from his house, walked all the way to NEX, saved a bird and even washed his hand yet I still not out of NEX!! Oops. *Head lowering* Eh, wait a minute, saved a bird?!!

Yea, he said that on the way to NEX, this woman, with a hand holding a kid and another carrying another kid, approached him and asked him to save the bird on the road. The bird was so mini, lying on the road, dangerously. Gary used his both hand to scoop up the small little bird. He placed it on the grass beside the road. Then he realized that people may accidentally step onto it as it was so small to be spotted. He took up the bird again and gently placed it near a tree. No human will step so close to a tree.

Upon hearing this, I told Gary to bring me there and see the small little bird. It was a tiny yellow bird. It’s size is about 2 fingers of human being’s. Poor little bird, it was struggling to fly. While walking to the Gary’s block we were discussing that placing the small little bird there may still unsafe but we don’t how could we save it. Then suddenly, we saw a yellow ‘adult’ bird flying across the trees. I was like ‘wah maybe that one is the mama bird, shit, how am I going to inform her about the tiny little bird’. While Gary and I were still arguing whether that yellow ‘adult’ bird is the mama of that tiny bird, we saw another bird flying above us. I somehow saw something yellow in his mouth... IT MAY BE THE TINY LITTLE BIRD! We quickly went back to the tree that Gary placed that small little bird and didn’t found it anymore. YES! It’s papa came and look for it!!!

I guess this comes as a very late post. I just don’t know why I can’t settle down and blog this few days. But it’s always better late than never, isn’t it?

It’s a short brief of what I had done during the Chinese New Year.

初一, as I had mentioned, I went to my 大姑 house 拜年.

初二, my family, with my younger brother’s girlfriend went to Vivo city.
- Eat lunch at nearby Hawker Center (though we had lunch at home already)
- Sightseeing at the Vivo rooftop
- Shop in Daiso
- Catch a movie, I love HK
- Tour around the flower bed at the Sentosa Boardwalk, the event only last till 13th Feb (i.e TOMORROW! Phew, my post came just in time)

初三, Maple has an event during Chinese New Year. I missed it on初一 and 初二 le, so now is my time to game~ 2x EXP and 2x Drop rate, here I come~

初四, a group of us went to Jonathan’s house and拜年. It was a very short gathering as everyone has something on in the afternoon. We met at 09:15 man, though I reached around 09:40. It was too early for me la. Jon lived at Bukit Gombak, means that meeting at 09:15, I have to leave my house at 08:30, and means that I have to wake up at 07:00!! OMG! I very long never wake up so early during non-school day. Hehe. In the end I snoozed for 15 minutes, therefore I was late.

Yesterday was 大年除夕, so every family should have 团圆饭. Of course, my family was not excluded. This year, we had steamboat! Actually every year we also had the same theme.

By the way, I got myself another top from G2000. Hai, but it's not red again.

Sticky Rice

Yesterday, my papa told me that he bought a 粽子, Bau and Glutinous Rice. So I was telling him I want Glutinous Rice, I want Glutinous Rice, for today’s brunch (as my school starts at 13:30 for Monday). However, I was afraid that my brother (Shaw Yeong) will eat it for his breakfast. My papa suggested me to hide the Glutinous Rice in my room so that my brother wouldn’t eye on it. G2000 sales and Just Acia Dinning with Poly clique

Since Christmas, we had another gathering last Friday! Yea! Get to see Weiying and Eve again!!

Once again, Jonathan organized a Poly gathering. We were told to meet at 19:30, in Marina Square, at Just Acia. But as Weiying knocked off early, Eve went there early to accompany her. I was napping when Eve texted me to join. Hence I only make it early by 5 minutes before the gathering time. =.=

When I reached there, the girls were shopping in G2000. They are holding sales now. Oh my gosh! It was really cheap. The tops on sales were ranged from $19 to $29 and formal bottom at $29!! In the end I also grabbed a casual top at $29. Its original price was $69 lor! Cheap cheap cheap. But a pity is, it was in black color. Can I wear it for Chinese New Year, blink blink?

And if you pay by POSB Mastercard, you get a further 15% discount!! And if you spend above $100 nett, a $20 voucher is yours! Oh my gosh!! So we combined our purchase, and entitled a $20 voucher! We promised to shop at G2000 together again, before the voucher expired.

As a result of G2000 sales, we were an hour late. Everyone had finished their main course when we arrived.

Let me introduce you Just Acia. Order any set meal, you can enjoy free flow of drinks and ice cream! The price range of the set meal is $5.90 to $10.90 (according to their site). It’s definitely affordable. They provide 5 types of soft drink, coffee, etc and 8 tubes of ice cream for you to scoop and a vanilla, chocolate and mixed soft serve. But chocolate soft serve was sold out when we reached. So reach there early for the soft serve!

I scooped Chocolate Chip, Lime and Peppermint ice cream and self decorated soft serve. OMG! So happy! Everyone was so stunned with my greediness in ice cream. And lastly, I concluded my meal with a Root Beer Float. Heaven.

After the dinner, Jason suggested to drink. OMG! It was so stunning. Jason used to be a mummy’s boy, like very guai. And now, he initiated to drink. He even went to a number of clubs before. That surprised me. Anyway, as there were 3 of us, including me, can’t drink (don’t feel like drinking when I’m still schooling), we changed the plan to HK Café and relax. Ordered Congee and French Toast and shared among the 7 people, with Jonathan and his girlfriend went home first. Chatted for an hour or so and we headed to catch the last train.

It was a good catch up.

First Week of School

Phew, finally weekend. I thought I will be very excited to be back for school. However, just the first week, I already feel that I had gone through this for ages. Well, indeed, I went through it for 3 semesters. But this time round, I can’t see Shu Ning in school. For those who are unsure why is that so, Shu Ning went to Su Zhou for attachment. So envious, she can even play with the snows.

Let’s get back to the school stuffs. My time-table for this semester is not that bad. However, our schedule for Thursday is 09:30 to 21:30. 12 hours in school. So which means, I will reach home at around 23:30. Having a 08:30 lesson on the following day, I have to wake up at 06:23. OMG! Means even I sleep straight away after I reached home, I can only sleep for 7 hours. Argh! My 8 hours of beauty sleep is gone~

This semester I will experience a number of first times in school. First time cannot queue for free gifts with Shu Ning and her friends, first time spending 12 hours in school. First time having lessons until 21:30, first time having a 3 hours long lecture. And first time, experience 7 hours break!!

Our school has a system that is during our first week of school, there would not have any tutorial and lab session. Hence, this week we only attend lectures. As a result, during Thursday, we had a 7 hours break in between! So, the group of guys and I went to Jurong Point to slack. We walked around the mall and bought movie tickets to kill time. Time just flies when you are with your friends

Before the semester start, want to have a relax moment in the water with Jacuzzi, fun with water slides? Wild Wild Wet is the option but is too expensive even you had excluded the lockers, taxi fares and food? Don’t worry I have a substitution for you. Having almost similar facilities with WWW yet the entrance fee is 15 times cheaper, let’s welcome Jurong East Swimming Complex.

It is a local complex run by the council, so the entrance fees are the same as going to any of the public pools here. But this one is special. As well as a beautiful 50 meter competition pool there is a toddlers pool, a wave pool, a lazy river, a jacuzzi, and 3 water slides! And all this for $1.50 per adult on weekdays and $2 on weekends. Unbelievable cheap huh.

Presented by National Museum Singapore, Pompeii: The Last Moment. To promote this special exhibition, National Museum has proposed to have FREE entries to all galleries on the following dates listed below: 21, 22 & 23 Jan (Fri, Sat & Sun). That is this Friday and Weekend.

However if you are not free on this weekend, don’t worry, they do offer free entry for students (all days) and an entry fee of $12 for adults. But do take note that Pompeii: The Last Moment only available until 23rd of Jan. Want to know more about this exhibition, check this site out.

In 79CE, the cosmopolitan city of Pompeii and much of its surrounding area were buried under volcanic ash and pumice following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in southern Italy. What makes this so special is as the volcanic ash became solidified after 1500 years, the last moment of the city could be retrieved by molding. Highlights include body casts of eight victims, who were ‘immortalized’ during their last moments when Mount Vesuvius erupted, gladiators’ gear, a mosaic fountain and frescoes from the House of the Golden Bracelet.

When I was young, my parents always brought us to Malaysia and Clay Pot Rice is always our family choice for dinner. It was nice but I hate the Chinese sausage hence I always hate eating that. For easy buying, my whole family has to eat the same thing. This means, I have no say in deciding what to eat.

Suddenly I had the urge to try the Clay Pot Rice again. You could hardly find this dish in Singapore anymore. But luckily, Gary knew that Bugis has one. Since it was a walking distance from National Museum to Bugis, we decided to explore our way there though both of us had train concession.

The place where we settled our dinner is a market opposite the Bugis Street. Don’t worry, it’s not difficult to spot.

Gary said that the tart doesn’t taste as nice as he thought. He had tried mine (the one that I baked with Vivian they all) and it tasted similar as this. Hence, there is no ‘WOW’ feeling.

After the tart, I insisted of bringing them to Urban Writing, to show them Weiying and her boyfriend photos, that were used as a decoration in that outlet. In the end, we spent around an hour looking around this high class Popular.

Time for shopping!! The guys want to buy some clothes for CNY (Chinese New Year). We shopped around Orchard Central and Somerset @ 313. However, while they shop, I keep pulling them to take photo with the CNY decorations…

I had a chill out session with Gary in AMK hub, two days ago (18th). As I didn’t touch pool for quite a long time, I had been pestering Gary to bring me there. And finally, here we are, on the last week of school vacation.

Oh my gosh, the rate had gone up! It has increased to $6.80/hr during non-peak period. Anyway, don’t mind with the cash, we had an approximately 2 hours of game. In total, we had around 7 rounds. Except the first round, I lost all the others!! WTH! And do you know how I managed to win the first round? It’s because Gary hit the last ball with the white ball in! It’s not I clear the balls myself lor. Hai. So saddening.

I spotted this shop that sells $7 per tee-shirt the last time I was here. It was located along the walkway of AMK, from AMK hub towards Jubilee. Hence I pulled Gary to shop with me after the discouraged pool session (furthermore it’s after I knew about my result, how sad I was in. hai). In the end, I bought 3 pieces for $20! Okay, it delights me a bit.

Carry on, AMK was promoting Taiwan snacks at their Exhibition Hall (B1). There’s Curry Fishball!! That was my favourite~

A Day Out with my Uni Friends

As Samuel has the voucher, he treated us to play console game on last Wednesday. We booked a room for the six for three hours, which would cost $50++ without the voucher. This was the second time I was out with this group of friends, though I can’t really remember when the first time was.

I quickly dash towards it and occupied it for the whole session. Luckily, the guys are not interested with this chair. Phew

Personally, I prefer the Rayman Rabbit. They are so cute~ This game is about compete with each other with tonnes of mini games. However, each time can only play up to 4. Since I have played with Shu Ning before, I was able to recommend which mini games are nice to play.

We traveled to Dhoby Ghaut, with the intention to watch movie. However, when we reached The Cathay, we found out that the timing for the movies were all very late. We even went to Plaza Singapura to try our luck but it turns out to be the same. We stood near the Cinema Ticketing Counter for around half an hour, discussing what should we do next. Carry on with the movie plan? Go home? Walk around? Do other things? Running out of activities, we went in to the arcade, which is just in the line of our sight.

Farewell Dinner for Shu Ning

For the past few days, I have hectic schedule, which makes my blog entry being delayed for few days. In another words, it means that you guys have more entries to look forward to…

This is a follow-up post on previous Monday, January 10, blog entry. After meeting Shu Ning for Wii session, we headed to NEX. The clique was preparing a farewell dinner for our dear Shu Ning. Shu Ning was going to fly off to Su Zhou on 13th for internship. It would be a 5 to 6 months trip. This means that I would not see Shu Ning for the next half a year. No more shopping together, take photo together and even get freebies together. I already start missing you. Hope that everything is alright to you.

Anyway, back to the dinner, we went to Dian Xiao Er (店小二) for the meal. I just like its ambiance. It looks so … tradition. I was very satisfied with the foods expect that it’s damn expensive yet very little. Just don’t feel full after the meal. But the roasted duck is really … nice!

I finished most of the porridge lor

Some remarks on the foods. I ate all the foods except the 辣味蒸凤爪 as I just can't get myself to eat the chicken claw. But in overall, the foods are nice. Dishes that I like best (in the order of my favorites) are 菠萝咕噜肉, 虾酱鸡, 蜜汁叉烧包, 酥皮叉烧酥, 鱼子蒸烧卖, 擂沙汤丸 and 杨枝甘露. However, the porridge doesn’t taste as nice as I thought. It was quite bland. Other than this, it is quite up to standard.

We ordered 18 different dishes plus some repeats. I ate until very full. Really like 不要命. It was so full until I feel like vomiting whenever I came across foods. OMG. I guess I wouldn’t try on buffet anymore, at least for these few months.

Wii Weeee

I guess this will be my last session hanging out with SN. The next time will be like half a year from now. I will definitely miss you.

Initially, we planned to swim at the Jurong East Swimming Complex, with all the fun slides experience at an affordable cost. However, we miss-calculated one thing, they closed on Mondays. Therefore we need to make last minute changes. Due to being so last minute, we do not have much idea. So it turns out to be simple but fun activity.

I went to SN’s ah ma’s house. SN was so funny. I was suggesting going to her ah ma’s house and play. But she said that over there don’t have much thing to do. Just when I volunteered to bring some card games there, she then said there’s Wii. =.=

So, there for Wii!! That was my first time playing it! Shy, I have so many first times with SN. My first time staying in hostel was with her, my first time drinking teh bin was she introduced de, my first time eating Niang Dou Fu was she taught me de, now my first time Wii…

Xian. Every games I like lost until very badly. Cries. But I enjoyed playing Rayman a lot. Anyway, Rayman is indeed very fun. I even played until having muscle aches right now... Pain...but it's worthwhile.

Saboteur

I had a small meet out with my uni friends. But actually it’s only Samuel, Gary and me. Anthony had something on that day hence it left with me and the two guys. Quite awkward as Samuel actually went to Gary’s house to take some files from him however I like die die also want to join them like that. Furthermore they like classmates since poly, which makes me feel like an outsider.

That’s my thought before that day but when we met, they didn’t make me feel that way. They did keep talking to me though I still feel as shy as ever.

After some file transferring, Gary took out a card game that his friend bought for him as his birthday present. Guess what that game is… It’s Saboteur! Hope that you guys heard of this game before.

Let me describe the game in short for you. As we have 3 people, we will have either 1 saboteur and 2 gold-diggers or 3 gold-diggers. The saboteur will try to prevent the gold-diggers from reaching the gold. If the gold-diggers failed to get the gold, the saboteur will be rewarded with 3 golds. However if the gold-diggers managed to create the path to the treasure, gold-digger will win and able to draw a card from the deck of gold nugget cards. Each card will have 1 to 3 golds. End of the day, the person who has the most gold wins. For more detailed of the game logic, click here.

I played this game with the poly clique before hence I knew about the rules. That was Samuel first time seeing this game so Gary explained to him. Though Samuel is new to this game, he was very lucky! Gary and I keep drawing 1 gold but Samuel got 3 golds in his first draw and 2 golds in his second. We won 4 rounds also can’t beat his 2 rounds lor.

However everything has its turning point. In one of the round, I drew the Saboteur card! OMG! When I saw this card I was like ‘Oh my gosh! Why me?!!’ But game still carries on. I was lucky, I got 2 ‘show map’ card hence I know where the treasure is. To make them less suspect me, I was still very helpful, kept putting uninterrupted paths. However, it was towards the goal card with stone. Samuel also knew where the gold is, and when he saw that the path is not towards the gold goal, he knew that there’s one saboteur between us.

But he doesn’t know who the saboteur is. On the other hand, I was there sweating. Because we are reaching to the goal card (the stone). Oh my god! Saboteur can only win when there’s no more path card deck. There’s still slightly less than half deck left. In no time, they will find out the gold.

Just as when I was brainstorming how can I interrupt their gold-digging yet wouldn’t reveal my identity, Samuel begin to do something. He knew that there’s one saboteur in us, but as he doesn’t know who the person is, he used the block card. He used in on Gary first as during the game they keep accussing each other being saboteur. Hei hei. Now I have a very good excuse to block the gold digger. I used a block card on Samuel. As Gary can’t move, it’s Samuel’s turn. I think you can guess, I can’t move as well because now the block card was used on me. So I gave Samuel another block card, double block! Gary’s turn, he has an unblock card for mine hence he helped me to unblock.

Samuel keeps crying that he’s the good guy yet like none of us believed him and ended up with triple or quadruple block. When I saw there’s 3 cards left in the deck, I guess it’s time for me to reveal my identity. I placed a rock-fall card on one of the 4-directed path. Hei hei. In the end, they don’t have the fitting card to fill up the gap and tada, I WON!

The next round, I was a normal gold-digger. I got 1 ‘show map’ card and I peeked at the bottom goal card. It was stone hence I know we should head to the top. I guess all my luck was used in previous round because the cards on hand are all ‘dead-end’ path card. Without much choice, I used another strategy, that is, block them from getting the bottom card (as it was the stone).

‘Dead-end’ path card can seems to be a ‘oh hor you are the saboteur’ card. So when they saw me building the path with such card they started to suspect me. Samuel kept saying I should be the saboteur. However Gary believes in me, despite I was actually a saboteur in previous round. He said that he knows me and I am not the person who will do that. Muahahaha Zhu Tou knows me so well. I was so happy upon hearing it as he trusted me. But I don’t have much facial expression as I was concentrating on the game. Hehe. However, Samuel doesn’t listen to Gary he keeps using the block card on me. Luckily I have all sort of unblock card hence he can’t freeze me. In the end, Samuel was the saboteur.

Muahahaha. In the end I won the whole Saboteur game. It was concluded with they each got 5 golds and I got 7 golds!!

Experimenting Making of Fruit Tarts

After I brought Shu Ning to try the Fruit Paradize on last Thursday, we suddenly have the urge to create one tart ourselves. This is quite a good excuse for us to meet out again after the Christmas Eve gathering. Therefore, Shu Ning organized this Fruit Tart Making session. Hai. We should have more of these sot sot sessions before Shu Ning flies off~

Before getting to the bakes, we have to get the ingredients first. Thanks to our hardworking Kai Bin who had done her research online, it saved us a lot of wonders.

We started off with shopping in AMK Hub NTUC

Actually I wanted to wear the NTU Union Welcome tee shirt that Shu Ning is wearing but in second thought, I changed my mind. On the other hand, Shu Ning wanted to wear this 'Love Me' tee shirt, but she changed her mind too. Muahahaha, So coincidence.

Right after we finished with our purchases, we headed to Kai Bin's house. It was set to be in KB house as she seems to be the only one who has the oven. Hehe. So you should know who is the pro in baking here... Hehe.

By the way, Vivian brought a card game, Pictionary. It was brand new cards lor, she just unwrapped in front of us. But pity, before we can start playing, it's time for serious stuffs.

Limin arrived and start eating what we ate just now. So envy, she can drink all the soup and sushi...

After making one huge tart and 24 mini tarts, we still left with some dough. Not to waste it, they kept telling me to make a special tart for Gary. Some suggested a heart-shaped, some suggested the letter 'G'. O.O 不要啦 I will shy. So many people staring at me, 很害臊. But they insisted so...

Wah Zhu Tou, you are so fortunate... So many chio bu(s) make a heart-shaped tart for you. Envious. I want also don't have. Cries... Don't care, next time your turn to make one for me!! But I want heart-shaped Chicken!! Muahahaha

They all still encourage me to bring the tart to his house immediately despite it's already 22:30++. Cries they treated Gary better than me... UNFAIR! Anyway I also afraid that the biscuit base will get soft hence ... home delivery~

You guys want to know what is his expression after seeing me at his block void deck, holding a heart-shaped fruit tart? Did he like hug me immediately? Give me a kiss? Touched until cry? etc..... Chill, chill, don't be so anxious, I will tell you in no time...

Touched? Hug? Kiss? No, No, NO!! I only kanna scolding from him!!! He said that I shouldn't come alone at such a late night, I should go home with Vivian, I should give him a call so that he can wait for me at the station, etc...

Ya, that's the aftermath. No, no what ever touching scene, no what ever romantic scene like what you usually seen in drama. He did finished it right after he got home.
